Flaminia Agrimi leads the Basic Mixing short course.

We met Flaminia on the mat in our yoga classes, where we specialise in breathing and moving to a steady beat.

Originally from Rome, London-based artist and sonic teacher, Flaminia, has built a style characterised by melancholic melodies and broken beats, drawing out a sound that’s heavily inspired by her love for techno and experimental electronic.

She plays regularly in London Printworks, Electrowerkz, Corsica Studios and she holds a residency at Village Underground’s in-house party, Superstition, and has shared decks with artists such as Tommy Four Seven, Surgeon, Regis, Phase Fatale, Shlømo, Rrose and Samuel Kerridge.

In 2017, Flaminia launched Metempsychosis Records, creating a platform to support emerging artists as well as pushing her own productions, and in 2019, she co-founded and launched Home of Sound a platform for to support independent artists and labels. Flam has taught on our music courses since 2020.

Hannah Whittingham co-founded Good Life Yoga School to offer yoga and meditation training with a strong focus on the power of music to aid flow state and movement.

At the core of her practice is the incredible impact MUSIC can have on the brain, nervous system and the body. It makes us move. And when we move in time to a beat, all together, magic happens (most of which is to do with hormone release, ventral vagal nervous system activation, and the illumination of multiple areas of the brain. But it still feels magic).

A musician, dancer and teacher, Hannah has 13 years’ experience teaching yoga, qigong and meditation, with particular interest in music’s impact on the brain, and how embodied practices can ease anxiety, trauma and mental health.

After a an undergrad at Cambridge and a post-grad at the Royal Academy of Music, she worked in theatre and the pop world before training in Ashtanga Vinyasa, the Rocket, Yin, Qigong, Embodied Yoga Principles and the neuroscience of mental health. When she is not teaching, she works as a writer, and an integrative psychotherapist, currently working clinically at Trinity Laban Conservatoire for Music and Dance.
