Rocket Science: the Anatomy of Rocket 2022

“Everybody gets to do what they wanna do”

Larry Schultz, the creator of The Rocket, put his sequences together to be playful, dynamic and accessible, something that has, on occasion, been slightly lost in translation!

In our Rocket Science course we dive into the sequences of Rocket, breaking down the funkier moves, and we look at all of the various inversions, but we also look at Larry’s philosophy, and just why the idea of everyone getting to do what they want to do - functionally and anatomically - is so important.

Mornings are spent in full Rocket practice, philosophy, and sequencing, and the afternoons are with anatomist, osteopath and Iyengar teacher Christian di Giorgio, helping you to understand how bodies differ, and how everyone can find the juice in the pose, even if they may need to approach it slightly differently.

In this 50 hours we will look at the Rocket 1 sequence. The anatomy will focus on the hip joints, pelvis and legs.

Rocket Science trainings can be taken separately or together, and in any order.
