200 hour Foundation Course Online Open Day

Our next virtual open day is 4pm on Sunday 28th January, 2024 where you can meet the faculty and ask questions. Drop us a line below and we will send you the link.

If you can’t wait until then, don’t worry! We recorded our last one from October!

If you’d like to watch the hour back, with us delving into the training and answering questions, you can request a link to the video below.

People decide to join a yoga teacher training for all sorts of reasons: maybe you want to teach formally, in a studio, or to share the practice you love with friends and family, or perhaps this is simply a way for you to deepen your understanding of yoga - physically and mentally - as well as exploring its origins, philosophy, and the most recent science in how it works and what it’s doing.

Whatever your reason, join us at our online open day on October 1st at 4pm where we will chat all things syllabus, introduce you to the faculty, give you a chance to grill a graduate and plenty of chance to ask questions.

PLUS get a free pass to join an online vinyasa practice on the same day with Marcus at 10am.

This open day will cover:

The course structure and content

What’s the immersion like?

Do you have to want to be a teacher?

Meet the course faculty

How much of the course is online and how much in person?

Meet a past student & hear their experience of the course

What makes our course different?

You’ll have time to ask all your questions to both the faculty and to a past student

This is for you if:

  • You want to teach yoga

  • You want to deepen your knowledge of yoga and your practice

  • You’re thinking about a teacher training but you’re not quite sure if you’re ready

  • You’d like to know if our teacher training is right for you

Good Life Yoga School

was established by Marcus Veda & Hannah Whittingham after many years of guest teaching on other teacher trainings. Their aim has always been to respect the traditions of yoga whilst bringing it into the modern world. The syllabus is grounded in science and anatomy whilst also placing emphasis on ethics, philosophy and the history of yoga. Of course, at its heart is practice - practice of asana (the moves), practice of teaching, of assisting and of being a ‘good yogi’…whatever you decide that means.

Giving back to others is important to GLYS, so we donate 10% of our profits to ‘Givewell’ approved charities.
